The seller bought this Super Beetle in May 2019 as a present to themselves, as they had always wanted a Beetle convertible ever since owning a hardtop many years ago. Per the seller, fewer than 500 of the 67,600 miles shown have been added under their ownership. Reportedly, the prior owner had recently finished having the Beetle resprayed in white, replacing the soft-top, and refurbishing the interior with new carpet, seats, and door panel upholstery. Modifications include the burgundy soft-top, Retrosound Bluetooth stereo with Sony speakers, chrome exhaust tip, painted rear license-plate holder, and cup-holders fitted to the ashtray mount. A VW Beetle indoor car cover, two keys, two grey “frunk” baskets, and two repair manuals are included.

Imperfections

• Battery is weak had to be jump-started the last several times starting the car; however, a new battery will reportedly be installed prior to the end of the auction

• Vehicle is due for an oil change

• Paint chips, scratches, and imperfections in exterior chrome trim (see images below and in main gallery)

• Paint on rear license plate cover is chipped

• Convertible top headliner is loose in the back

• Corrosion noted on undercarriage (see images below and in main gallery)
