Vehicle History & Overview

This 1993 Jaguar XJS Convertible started life in Michigan before being purchased by its second owner in 2008, at which time the car moved to Pennsylvania. The selling dealership initially located the car in 2009 and was finally able to acquire it in 2019 for a local collector. The current and third owner asked the selling dealership to list the car in November 2021. An accident and damage-free Carfax report is provided. Per the seller the front of the vehicle has received a re-spray. A set of color-matched Jaguar Sport wheels manufactured by Speedline have been added. The original wheels are also included with the sale.

Jaguar's XJS was produced from 1975 through 1996. During this time the car went through two main updates, once in 1981 and again in 1991. As part of the 1991 facelift front/rear styling became more aerodynamic, a 5-speed manual transmission was introduced, and an updated 4.0L inline-six debuted. The interior remained mostly unchanged apart from new instrumentation. After 21 years, production ceased in 1996.

Imperfections

The following imperfections are noted by the seller:

• Chips on leading edge of driver's door

• Scratch on driver-side front fender

• Chips behind front wheels and chips/checking behind rear wheels

• Power antenna does not function

• Body grommet for antenna needs to be replaced

• One interior light is inoperative

• Wear on driver seat

• Oxidation on underside of vehicle
