1966 Triumph

Spitfire MK II

What We Like

When enthusiasts think of classic British sports car motoring, a small two-seat convertible like the Triumph Spitfire immediately comes to mind. This example is offered at NO RESERVE finished in its factory colors of Signal Red over Black upholstery and powered by a correct 1,147cc four-cylinder engine mated with a four-speed manual gearbox. Per the selling dealer, modifications are limited to a period radio and upgraded engine air cleaners. This appears to be an eye-catching and fun little driver that should provide its next owner with plenty of fun on twisty back roads!

Seller Information

Vehicle History & Overview

This NO RESERVE 1966 Triumph Spitfire MK II left the factory finished in Signal Red over Black vinyl upholstery according to its factory data plate, and remains finished in those same colors today. The selling dealer acquired the car in November 2023 and has added approximately 160 miles since. Power comes from a factory 1,147cc inline four-cylinder engine breathing through dual SU carburetors and sending power rearward via a four-speed manual gearbox. Modifications appear to be limited to an Ekco Envoy radio and aftermarket engine air cleaners. This Spitfire Mk II is now offered in Maryland with a full cabin tonneau cover, spare wheel/tire assembly, jack, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
