The included accident-free Carfax report shows history since 1993, at which time this Corvette was registered in New York. Records indicate the car stayed in New York and later New Jersey until late 2020 when it moved to Arizona. The seller acquired the car in February 2022 and has added approximately 750 of the 77,000 miles shown. Minimal modifications include a period-correct Alpine cassette audio unit and radar detector just above the instrument cluster on this otherwise highly-original example.

The C4-chassis Corvette was released in 1984 and was the first complete redesign of the iconic sports car in over 20 years. The car retained key design attributes such as the retractable headlights, but it also saw the introduction of an all-aluminum suspension to reduce weight and LCD displays in the instrument cluster. 1985 saw the debut of the new “L98” 5.7L V8 engine that featured modern multi-port fuel injection and produced 230 horsepower. Chevrolet continued to update the car until production ended in 1996.
