This 996 Turbo Cabriolet offers the ability to cruise with the top down in heavy traffic with the Tiptronic automatic transmission or exploit the Cobb-tuned twin-turbocharged flat-six-cylinder engine on some curvy back roads. Enhancements include a set of 19-inch 997 Turbo-style wheels and a GT2-style rear wing. A major service completed in June 2022 is shown on the included Carfax report. Modifications include a Cobb Accessport and tune, GT2-style rear wing, 997 Turbo-style wheels, and clear LED taillights. Released to the US market in 2001, the 996-chassis 911 Turbo models were another leap forward for this all-weather supercar. The new water-cooled, twin-turbocharged flat-six-cylinder engine was a version of the race engine Porsche used to win the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans. Updated exterior styling with model-specific inlets over the rear wheels and a speed-dependent rear spoiler set the Turbo apart from other 911 models. A Tiptronic automatic transmission was available for the first time in the 911 Turbo’s history, and when paired with the Cabriolet body-style, suited the car’s character quite well. According to Porsche, this all-weather-capable supercar could sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and had a top speed of 185 mph.
