Small Italian convertibles hold a special place in the hearts of American drivers. This Fiat 124 is one of ~700 turbocharged examples built by Legend Industries in partnership with Fiat between 1981 – 1982, and benefits from a recent re-spray in Fiat Dark Red over a beige interior with a matching beige top. Equipment includes 14-inch Cromodora alloy wheels, Veglia instrumentation, and a wood-grain dash, trim, and shift-knob. Modifications include a luggage rack, VDO boost gauge, red-painted intake, and aftermarket stereo. This rare Fiat 124 Turbo is ready to offer its next owner a quintessential Italian motoring experience with a turbocharged twist.

The included accident-free Carfax starts in June 1994 and shows registration in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The selling dealer acquired the car in July 2022 and has added less than 200 of the 51,800 miles shown. Work under the selling dealer includes corrosion repair and a re-spray in factory Fiat Dark Red. Modifications appear to be limited to a luggage rack, VDO boost gauge, red-painted intake, dash pad and aftermarket stereo. The seller states service records, a tool kit, and two keys are included.
The Fiat 124 launched in 1966 featuring styling by famed Italian designer Pininfarina, who also oversaw production. The car is also known as the Fiat Spider 2000 and from 1983 – 1985 it was sold under the Pininfarina name as Fiat had discontinued the model from their lineup. Starting in 1981 Fiat teamed-up with Legend Industries in New York to create the Fiat 124 Turbo. Approximately 700 of these special vehicles were produced for the US market and all are believed to be equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. Series production ended in 1985.
