It was acquired by its current owner in February 2015, who has reportedly added approximately 2,000 miles since. Power comes from a factory 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a 4-speed manual transmission featuring overdrive. Under current ownership, cosmetics and mechanicals were addressed including a May 2018 engine rebuild by British vehicle specialists Merryman Modifications in Hanover, Pennsylvania as detailed further in this listing. Modifications include dual Weber carburetors, aftermarket air cleaners, an updated stereo, wood shift knob, and a rear luggage rack. In May 2018, British vehicle specialists Merryman Modifications in Hanover, Pennsylvania rebuilt the engine. The four-page $3,106.51 receipt listing all work is shown below.
Per the selling dealer, receipts pertaining to work on the interior, chrome items, and other parts purchased for a cosmetic refurbishment under current ownership are also included.
The selling dealer notes some exterior flaws including paint imperfections on forward-facing surfaces, some worn trim and pitting chrome, and other wear commensurate with age.
