According to the included Porsche Production Specifications certificate, this 1986 911 Carrera Targa was completed in January 1986 finished in Guards Red over Black partial leather and came equipped with a limited-slip differential, Fuchs forged alloy wheels, sport shock absorbers, a rear window wiper, automatic heating control, and more. The included clean Carfax report shows Florida registration since 1996.

This car's previous owner reportedly purchased it in May 1997 and kept it for 25 years. In May 2022, the previous owner sold the car to the service shop that had maintained between 1999-2021. The seller acquired the car from that service shop in June 2022 and has since added approximately 1,200 of its 130,500 miles.

During the seller's ownership, extensive maintenance has been completed with highlights including an engine top-end rebuild less than 6,500 miles ago, engine disassembly less than 1,000 miles ago including replacing the front nose bearing "O" ring, timing chains, main/rod/oil pump shaft bearings, seals and gaskets, a valve job, and more as detailed in the Servicing & Documentation section below. Additional recent work includes a brake system rebuild, replacing the axle boots, new oil lines from the engine-to-thermostat and front intercooler, and more.
