The 993-chassis Porsche 911 (1995-1998 in the US market) was the swan-song for the air-cooled 911 engine and chassis. The updated 3.6L flat-six developed 270 horsepower and was paired with a 6-speed version of the famed “G50” manual transmission. The 993 was also the most advanced version of the air-cooled chassis to date and featured contemporary strut-type suspension, kinematic passive rear-steering, ABS, all-wheel-drive, and more.

Imperfections

Per the seller, this 993 was involved in multiple incidents during his ownership, as reflected on the included Carfax report. Documentation for repairs relating each of the below incidents is included in the sale:

2014/2015 - Right-front fender replaced, rear decklid repaired.

2020 - Car drove over a large pothole, requiring repairs to the driver-front fender area. Following the repair, the seller elected to have the exterior repainted in its factory color.

The seller states the car currently has the following imperfections:

• Wear on driver seat as seen in gallery images

• Wear on e-brake handle as seen in gallery images

• Engine-bay insulation coming apart as seen in gallery images

• The seller states that the convertible top must be opened and closed manually, however the electronic latches work correctly.
