Per the included documentation, this MG B Roadster was sold to its first owner in May 1969 out of Maryland-based A.J. Epps Motor Co. Ltd. The seller acquired it in February 2022 and states that by 1986 the Roadster had been relocated to Texas. Upon taking delivery of the MG, the seller set about refurbishing the car. The seller states the driver’s floor pan was replaced to address damaged seat mounts and the body was re-sprayed in factory Tartan Red.
The interior was refurbished in black leather with red piping and the dashboard also received a matching leather cover. According to the seller, additional work entailed rebuilding the engine with a replacement cylinder head and upgrading the transmission to a 4-speed manual with overdrive 3rd and 4th gears. Modifications include the leather-covered dash, transmission upgrade, tubeless wire-spoke wheels, a Boss audio stereo, and more. Parts receipts, purchase documents, MG Your Passport To Service documents, and two keys accompany the sale.
