Vehicle History & Overview

This Mercedes-Benz CL500 was purchased new in 2007 and spent four years in Florida. The second owner registered it in California and kept the vehicle from 2011 until May 2021, at which time the selling dealership purchased the vehicle. The provided Carfax report shows some service history as well as noting "minor damage" to the front of the vehicle. As per the seller it appears the front bumper was re-sprayed. The seller states that he installed four new tires, replaced the brake pads, performed an engine oil/filter service, and replaced the ABC oil/filter in preparation for the sale.

Mercedes-Benz produced the C215-chassis CL500 from 2000 - 2006. The CL-class was considered the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz range and pioneered many innovative features such as radar-guided cruise control (Distronic) and the aforementioned ABC hydraulic suspension system. The CL500 is powered by Mercedes' venerable "M113" 5.0L V8 producing 302 horsepower when new and is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. Along with AMG versions of the CL-class, AMG styling kits such as the one on this car were also offered. Mercedes-Benz continued year-over-year improvements until production ended in 2006.

Imperfections

The included Carfax report shows "minor damage" in April 2018 affecting the front of the vehicle. As per the seller the front bumper has been resprayed.
