What We Like

With a sub-3,000-pound curb weight, superb road manners, and a naturally-aspirated flat-six, it's easy to see why the market is now recognizing the 996 as an excellent modern sports car. This accident-free, 32k-mile Arctic Silver coupe features desirable factory options such as heated Sport Seats, Bose High End Sound Package, Sport Exhaust System, and Sport Chassis. Vehicle History & Overview

Per the included accident-free Carfax report this 911 has spent time in Michigan, Ohio, and California. The current owner--who is consigning this 996 with the selling dealer--acquired the car in December 2009 and added just under 19k of the 32,300 miles shown. In August 2022, the selling dealer performed nearly $10,000 worth of service work including a major service with spark plugs and ignition coils, clutch/flywheel replacement, horn replacement, and installation of an LN Engineering IMS bearing upgrade. Service records, a pre-purchase inspection, owner’s manual, spare tire, and toolkit are included.

2002 was the first year of the face-lifted 996-chassis 911. New headlights brought the styling in line with other 911s, and revised aerodynamics improved high-speed handling. The overall dimensions and weight were similar to its predecessor which, combined with the 20 horsepower increase from the larger 3.6L engine, yielded excellent contemporary performance. Interior tweaks included new cupholders and updates to materials and trim to yield an even more upscale cabin. Overall, the 996 is a solid platform which can provide many years of enjoyment.
