According to the included Carfax report dating back to January 1992, this car was registered in Georgia, Illinios, and Indiana prior to moving to Maryland in 2013, where it remains titled and registered today.

In October 2023, the selling dealer reportedly had this 944 S2 resprayed in its factory Guards Red, whereas the rest of the car is claimed to be stock aside from a JVC CD player and an aftermarket exhaust tip.
