What We Like

Variety is the spice of life and often results in unique creations. This left-hand-drive Austin Mini Mk IV stands out from the crowd thanks to ChromaFlair purple over white paint, 25th Anniversary-style seats, an Alpine stereo with MB Quart speakers, and a number of attractive upgrades and modifications. Factory equipment includes the larger 998cc inline-four-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. This little Mini, offered at NO RESERVE, is ready to be enjoyed as-is or modified even further to suit its new owner.

Vehicle History & Overview

This Austin Mini Mk IV was purchased by the selling dealer in April 2022 after the prior owner parked the car for approximately one year. It features several modifications completed under prior ownership, including a respray in white with a ChromaFlair purple topcoat, 25th Anniversary-style seats trimmed in grey velvet with red piping, an Alpine stereo, and more as listed in the Modifications section below. Two keys and an owner’s manual are included.

British Leyland launched the Mini in 1959 and it became an instant icon. 1976 saw the launch of the Mk IV Mini, although you won’t find "Mk IV" anywhere on the car. This generation introduced additional refinements and safety features, thanks to a rubber-mounted front subframe and rear light clusters with reverse lights (1977 onward for the latter). Various improvements were made until series production ended in 1983.
