Mercedes-Benz produced the C215-chassis CL500 from 2000 - 2006. The CL-class was considered the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz range and pioneered many innovative features such as Mercedes’ Active Body Control (ABC) hydraulic suspension system. The CL500 is powered by Mercedes' venerable "M113" 5.0L V8 rated at 302 horsepower from the factory paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes-Benz continued year-over-year improvements until production ended in 2006.
