1972 Mercedes-Benz

250C

What We Like

For decades, Mercedes-Benz has created elegant and timeless coupes. With its distinctive "pillarless" cabin, the 250C is part of that legacy. This example reportedly benefits from servicing within the last 100 miles including an oil change, new tires, and replacing the wheels and wheel covers. It is finished in an attractive grey over a black interior and is powered by a robust M130 inline-six paired with a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Offered at NO RESERVE, this Mercedes appears to be an honest example that will make its new owner happy for years to come.

Seller Information

Vehicle History & Overview

This Mercedes-Benz 250C was acquired by the seller in December 2021, who states the prior Colorado-based owner had kept the vehicle more than 11 years and added less than 100 miles per year. Although the vehicle shows less than 63k-miles, the seller states the odometer is inoperative and thus true mileage is unknown.

The W114/W115-chassis Mercedes-Benz mid-size cars were launched in 1968 and featured the first newly engineered suspension since WWII. Power was provided by a variety of inline-four- and inline-six-cylinder engines, the latter of which is featured in this 250C and is legendary for its durability. The W114-coupe featured a "pillarless" design that provided a very airy cabin with all of the windows lowered. Series production ended in 1976.
