M3 Coupe 5-Speed

What We Like

Subtly aggressive styling, a sublime chassis, and a torquey inline-six-cylinder engine all firmly place the E36 M3 into sports coupe greatness. This Arctic Silver coupe features the larger S52 3.2L inline six-cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Over $12,000 has been spent since February 2022 on service and repairs, with detailed records provided below. Upgrades include manual “Vader” sport seats trimmed in black leather, a Euro M3 steering wheel, BMW ZHP weighted shift knob and matching boot, DEPO taillights with clear turn signals, and an H&R Street Performance coilover suspension kit. This M3 is ready to attack corners and allow all to enjoy its sonorous engine sound.

Seller Information

Vehicle History & Overview

Per the included Carfax report this M3 was sold to its first Florida-based owner in March 1997 and remained registered there through March 1999. The second owner moved this BMW to Washington state where it remained until the selling dealer purchased the vehicle in January 2022. Over $12,000 has been spent on service and repairs since March 2022 with detailed receipts shown in the Servicing & Documentation section below. Modifications include DEPO taillights with clear turn signals, swapping the original gray seats for black leather units including front “Vader” manual sport seats, a BMW ZHP shift knob with matching shift boot, a Euro M3 steering wheel, and H&R Street Performance coil-over suspension. The factory steering wheel, two keys, H&R suspension manuals, and factory tool kit are included.

The critically acclaimed E36-chassis 3-series launched in the US in 1993, with the M3 following suit for the 1995 model year. For 1996 a larger and more powerful 3.2L inline-six engine, along with chassis, suspension, and brake upgrades were all welcome additions. With its combination of robustness and reliability, a timeless exterior design, and an analog driving experience, it's easy to see why the E36 M3 has gained popularity in recent years.
