Vehicle History & Overview

Purchased new in April 2006, this FJ Cruiser stayed with its sole, California-based owner until the selling dealer purchased it in August 2021. The provided Carfax report shows no accidents/damage and displays some service history. Upgrades include an ARB armored front bumper, Warn winch, King Off-Road Racing front suspension, custom wheels shod with BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires, Hi-Lift jack, and more. An aftermarket GPS navigation unit mounted above the instrument cluster is also included as well as the removed trim panel. According to the seller, the original owner used the vehicle primarily for photography excursions, and as such it did not see the rugged off-road use many others have.

Launched in 2006 to much fanfare, FJ Cruiser production carried on until 2014. The robust drivetrain featured a 4.0L V6, was backed by either 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic, and paired with 4WD via a high/low transfer case. Its stout body-on-frame architecture, off-road-specific suspension, and an optional locking rear differential provide solid underpinnings. Unique styling reminiscent of the original FJ40 helps the vehicle stand out in a sea of SUVs, while practical features like the split rear doors make access to the rear cabin area relatively easy. The FJ Cruiser has earned a dedicated following thanks to its off-road capability and reliability.
