1999 BMW

M Roadster

What We Like

Classic designs exhibit a timelessness, retaining their visual appeal and function across generations. Such is the case with this 1999 BMW M Roadster displaying just 5,900 miles from new. The striking color combination of Arctic Silver Metallic with a dark blue top, draped over a two-tone Black/Estoril Blue cabin adds to the appeal. BMW’s legendary inline six-cylinder engine, five-speed manual gearbox, and rear-wheel drive layout further enhance the experience. This M Roadster appears well-preserved by its sole owner and carries an accident-free Carfax report. Whether you buy this vehicle to drive or display, the timeless design should last for decades to come.

Vehicle History & Overview

This one-owner BMW M Roadster shows 5,932 miles from new. It is finished in the aforementioned Arctic Silver Metallic over a two-tone black and Estoril Blue Nappa leather interior with a dark blue top. Prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition in June 2021, the vehicle stayed with its original owner in Connecticut. Some service documentation from the original owner and service records of work performed by the selling dealer are available along with the one-owner, accident-free Carfax report.

The first generation of BMW M Roadster was based on the already successful Z3 and sold in the US between 1998 – 2002. Upgrades over the standard Z3 include BMW's stalwart "S52" inline six-cylinder engine factory-rated at 240 horsepower, a revised suspension system, brakes borrowed from the E36 M3, and myriad other improvements. These cars are visually distinguished from the standard Z3 via revised front and rear bumpers, lower ride-height, M-specific wheels, and quad exhaust tips.
