Whether on the road or at the track, this Holden HSV W427 tribute is truly one car that can do it all thanks to a 600+ horsepower 427ci V8, three pedals, and seating for five. Reportedly no expense was spared in building this W427 tribute, with modifications including the powerful LS7 V8 engine, a Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual transmission, various suspension and brake upgrades, a bespoke interior, a custom body kit, and much more. The included accident-free Carfax report shows long-term ownership history in Nevada and Texas. This very special and unique car is an opportunity for someone to own a tribute to one of the most powerful Australian muscle-cars ever produced.

Per the included accident-free Carfax report, this Pontiac G8 GT-based HSV W427 tribute was sold new in Nevada and remained there with the first owner for 10+ years. The seller acquired the already-upgraded vehicle in July of 2021 and has added less than 100 of the 48,000 miles shown. Extensive upgrades include a 427ci LS7 V8 engine, Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual transmission, replica Holden HSV W427 body kit, bespoke interior, supporting suspension and brake upgrades, and much more. Two keys, an owner’s manual, and various interior trim parts are included.
The Australian-market Holden Commodore spawned the US-market Pontiac G8 that this HSV W427 tribute is based on. While the Commodore and Pontiac G8 were already-capable vehicles thanks to V8 engines paired with manual transmissions, the W427 was born of a desire to create the most powerful factory muscle-car Australia had ever seen. Holden Special Vehicles borrowed the 427ci LS7 V8 engine from the US-market Corvette Z06, mated it to a Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual transmission, and installed this powertrain into the Commodore with some supporting suspension, chassis, and brake upgrades. Bespoke exterior cues and a rousing exhaust-note told bystanders this was something special. Reportedly just 138 W427 cars were ever produced.
