The C4-chassis Corvette has become increasingly popular recently as enthusiasts rediscover how good this generation really is. This example carries an accident-free Carfax report and shows just 66k miles, with an engine rebuild in the last 1,500 miles. Desirable options include the Z51 suspension package and a striking red leather interior. The LCD instrument cluster functions as designed, and modifications appear to be limited to a period-correct radar detector integrated into a bolt-on rear-view mirror. This Corvette will provide its next caretaker the pleasure of owning and driving a neo-classic American icon.

The included accident-free Carfax report shows history since 1992, when this Corvette was registered in Washington state. The car appears to have remained there until the selling dealer acquired it in August 2022, at which time the car showed 66,700 miles. Included documentation shows the factory engine was rebuilt and re-installed at 65,120 miles. Modifications appear to be limited to a BEL radar detector integrated into a bolt-in rear view mirror assembly.
The C4-chassis Corvette was released in 1984 and was the first complete redesign of the iconic sports car in over 20 years. The car retained key design attributes such as the retractable headlights, but it also saw the introduction of LCD displays in the instrument cluster along with weight-reducing all-aluminum suspension. 1985 saw the debut of the new “L98” 5.7L V8 engine that featured modern multi-port fuel injection and produced 230 horsepower. Chevrolet continued to update the car until production ended in 1996.
