The car was delivered new to the British Embassy in Washington, D.C.

The selling dealer acquired this TR6 in October 2023 and reportedly had the car repainted in its factory color in November 2023. It retains a correct factory 2.5-liter inline six-cylinder engine paired with an Overdrive 4-speed manual gearbox.
