1975 Porsche

911 Carrera 2.7 Coupe

What We Like

The Carrera 2.7 was Porsche's low-production, top-of-the-line model in 1974-1975, combining wide fender flares and the famed 175 horsepower 2.7L flat-six engine. This US-spec Peru Red over Cinnamon Carrera includes a Porsche Production Specifications certificate showing factory-optional Koni shocks and deletion of the “Carrera” door script. Reportedly purchased by the seller from its prior owner of 47 years, this Carrera received nearly $15,000 in servicing at renowned Porsche specialist 911 Design in March 2023. Unmodified Carreras in interesting colors aren't on the market very often, so don't miss your chance to take this one home!

Seller Information

Vehicle History & Overview

This 1975 911 Carrera was acquired by the seller in December 2022 from a family that is believed to have owned the 911 for 47 years. A Porsche Production Specifications document shows this 911 was built in October 1974, verifies the factory colors, and shows options include Koni shocks and deletion of the “Carrera” script on the doors. The seller claims that this 911 wears paint that appears to be factory except for the front trunk, which was reportedly re-sprayed due to rock chips. Service records from March 2023 total $14,799 and include replacement of four tires, rebuilding the front brake calipers and replacing all four brake hoses, replacement of the passenger side front and rear turn signal assemblies, replacing the front Koni shocks, and more as detailed below. The aforementioned Porsche Production Specifications document, factory owner’s manual, tool kit, and two sets of keys are included.
