1971 Triumph

TR6

What We Like

With instantly-recognizable styling, inline-six power, and a throaty exhaust note, the TR6 has been a British motoring icon for decades. This refreshed example retains a correct 2.5-liter engine mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox, and has been enhanced with a few tasteful upgrades such as chrome wire wheels, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, modern stereo, and more. The TR6 market seems to be heating up in recent years, and for good reason: they look great, sound great, and bring a smile to drivers and admirers alike!

Vehicle History & Overview

This 1971 Triumph TR6 is finished in bright red with a black soft top over black upholstery with wood trim, and retains a correct factory 2.5-liter inline six-cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer acquired this car in January 2024 and states that they have since added over 200 miles. Per the selling dealer, this car was refurbished roughly 10 years ago, including some cosmetics and mechanicals.

Modifications are noted as 14” chrome wire wheels, a luggage rack, a vintage-style Bluetooth radio, Yamaha stereo speakers, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, and an auxiliary electric engine cooling fan. This TR6 is now offered in Maryland with a soft top boot cover, spare wheel/tire assembly, jack, and a clean Rhode Island title.
