1965 Chevrolet

Corvair Monza Convertible

What We Like

The 1960s were a fascinating time in the automotive world, as many manufacturers experimented with new technologies and different configurations. Such was the case with this Corvair Monza convertible and its rear-mounted, air-cooled flat-six engine -- a marked departure for Chevrolet. This Corvair appears to be mechanically stock and reportedly received a re-spray in its current shade of red, paired with a white soft-top, black interior, and convertible top boot. Featuring the optional 110 horsepower engine, this Corvair Monza benefits from model-year 1965 improvements, including a redesigned rear suspension that offered superior handling, larger brakes, a more efficient alternator, and more. Be prepared to garner attention and answer questions when you show up at your local car meets in this uncommon Corvair!
