This R32 was sold new in January 2004 and has resided in the greater New York/Connecticut area since. A clean Carfax report shows a few service records as well as consistent emissions/safety inspections. The seller purchased the vehicle in November 2021 and has added less than 500 of the 50,350 miles shown. For many years the US was denied the hottest versions of Volkswagen's venerable Golf but that all changed in a big way when the 2004 Volkswagen R32 was released. Featuring an enlarged 3.2L version of Volkswagen's unique VR6 developing 240 horsepower, a 6-speed manual transmission, Haldex-based 4Motion all-wheel-drive, and a throaty exhaust, the car was an instant hit with enthusiasts. Supportive Konig heated sport seats, upgraded brushed aluminum interior trim, and seating for four added to an already appealing package. Only four colors were offered, with the Deep Blue Pearl Effect shown on this car being highly coveted.
