Oldsmobile and Hurst Performance partnered to create limited edition models for more than two decades. This Cutlass Hurst/Olds commemorates 15 years between the two companies and carries model year specific 15th Anniversary badges. The selling dealer reports the prior owner completed a frame-off refurbishment that included a re-spray in solid black, drivetrain swap that includes an Oldsmobile-based 425ci big-block V8 with a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, and much more. Factory-correct details abound including the power bulge hood, rear wing, and 15” chrome wheels. This '80s restomod is ready to be enjoyed as is or have its period-correct color scheme reapplied to emphasize its heritage.

Oldsmobile has a storied history that includes a variety of muscle-cars. Hurst Performance collaborated with Oldsmobile on a variety of cars, including the Cutlass-based Hurst/Olds highlighted here. Model-year 1983 cars featured 15th Anniversary Edition badging to commemorate the 15 years the two companies had worked together. A 307ci V8 engine developed 180 horsepower that was fed through a 4-speed automatic transmission, with shifting duties handled by the Hurst Lightning Rod triple-stick shifter assembly. Reportedly 3,001 examples were built for 1983 and all were painted black, with a good portion receiving the burgundy interior seen here.
