Seller Information

Vehicle History & Overview

This Porsche 914 was reportedly purchased by a Florida-based owner in 2008. Later that year, the car was comprehensively refreshed including fitting its Volkswagen Type 4 1.7-liter engine case with new 2.0-liter cylinders and pistons, rebuilt cylinder heads, a new camshaft, Weber 40 IDF carburetors, a body repaint in the car’s factory Laguna Blue, and more. A Richard Johnson chassis stiffening kit was installed in 2009 and subsequent mechanical and cosmetic work/upgrades are further detailed throughout the listing below.

In 2010, the car moved to Indiana and was brought to Kansas City in 2013. In July 2020 the previous owner purchased the car, sold it to another local enthusiast in August 2021, and bought it back from him in June 2022. The selling dealer acquired it from the previous owner in November 2023 and has added approximately 200 miles since. Power is sent through a factory dogleg 5-speed manual transaxle. This 914/4 is now offered with service records and detailed ownership history since 2008, a spare wheel/tire assembly, jack, two keys, and a clean Maryland title.
