This Parilla 125 4S mixes classic Italian styling with post-war engineering to create an enticing entry into the world of historic motorcycles. The selling dealer believes, thanks in part to the overall condition, that the bike is mechanically original. Based on the selling dealer’s research, the fuel tank was either replaced or was repainted to its current shade of red with a black boomerang design on the tank. Whether to execute a full restoration or simply to refresh mechanically and enjoy its patina, this is an excellent opportunity to acquire an uncommon example of Italian machinery offered at NO RESERVE.

The selling dealer acquired this motorcycle in its current, non-running condition in May 2020 and is offering it here at no reserve. Based on the selling dealer’s research, it is believed this Parilla 125 4S was originally blue and the tank was either replaced or was subsequently painted red with a black boomerang to resemble the up-market 175 model. According to the selling dealer, modifications appear to be limited to the aforementioned color-change and a UB20BS carburetor.
The Parilla motorcycle company first appeared in 1946 and is believed to be the first post-war Italian manufacturer. The 125 4S was launched in 1958 and features a 125cc 4-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Quoted output was 12 horsepower and the motorcycle weighed just under 200 pounds. The reported top speed was 85 mph.
