The Jaguar XKE is often referenced as one of the best-looking automobiles ever produced. This Series II Roadster – finished in iconic British Racing Green over Biscuit leather with a matching soft-top – features the legendary 4.2L inline-six-cylinder engine upgraded with twin SU HS8 carburetors and paired with a sought-after 4-speed manual gearbox. Additional updates include an internally-regulated alternator and modern stereo system. Per the selling dealer, this XKE was re-sprayed in the factory color under a prior owner, has reportedly benefitted from Ziebart undercoating from new, and recently received a new Stayfast cloth convertible top. This unmistakable Jaguar is ready to cruise or hit the open road and let its engine sing while you row through the gears!

According to the factory build-plate, this Jaguar XKE was produced in August 1970. The current owner, one of the partners of the selling dealer, acquired this Roadster in March 2022 and has added less than 1,000 of the 58,900 miles shown. A prior owner provided a document detailing certain service and repairs, including replacement of the convertible top with a Stayfast component in 2020, and notes the car received a refurbishment at some point that included a re-spray in factory British Racing Green. Other notable service/repairs include rebuilding the SU HS8 carburetors and the distributor, upgrading the alternator, and installing new tires in 2019. Modifications include the aforementioned SU HS8 carburetors, internally regulated alternator, and a Kenwood stereo with electric antenna. A zippered tonneau cover, boot cover, jack, tools/bag, factory owner’s manuals, driver’s manual, lubrication chart, and service handbook are included.
