2006 Porsche

911 Carrera S Cabriolet 6-Speed

What We Like

Porsche's 997-chassis 911 has earned a devoted following thanks to iconic styling and last-of-breed hydraulic steering. This 32k-mile example's uncommon Carmon Red Metallic over Stone Grey with matching soft-top is paired with desirable options -- including the Sport Chrono package and Bose High End Sound package. Other attractive options include heated front seats, stainless steel door sills, and an aluminum gear shifter. An accident-free Carfax report shows some service history, and the seller reportedly performed a 30k-mile service prior to the sale. This 911 is ready to carve up twisty roads or enjoy a cruise down the coast.

Seller Information

Vehicle History & Overview

The included accident-free Carfax report shows this 32k-mile 911 Carrera S was sold new in July 2006 in California and remained in California and Arizona until October 2013. The vehicle also spent time in Kentucky, Maryland, and Florida. Some service history is shown on the Carfax report and the seller performed a 30,000 mile service prior to the sale. The seller has committed to providing a new set of tires with the sale provided the car meets reserve. Two keys, a DME report, factory floor mats, and a factory wind-stop are included.

The 997-chassis was released in the US for the 2005 model-year and brought back the curvaceous bodywork many Porsche enthusiasts crave along with improved aerodynamics. The interior benefitted from substantially better-quality materials covering a completely new and much more modern design. Carrera S models received a 355 horsepower, 3.8L flat-six engine that sent power through a 6-speed manual transmission. Newly available options included the Sport Chrono Package and Porsche Active Suspension Management, as featured on this example.
