Classic motoring doesn’t get much better than a top-down Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider on a warm spring day. This example is finished in Rosso Alfa over a grey interior and benefits from a documented, multi-year refurbishment that was completed in 2004. Post-refurbishment, the car won first place in several concours events and attained podium finishes in various other shows. When not being driven, the vehicle was reportedly stored in a climate-controlled facility. This Alfa Spider is ready for its next owner to experience the enjoyment of top-down Italian motoring.

This Giulietta Spider is presented by the seller on behalf of the former owner's family. Two photo albums document a multi-year refurbishment performed completed in 2004 by the previous owner. The car won first place in several concours events and attained podium finishes at various other shows, and it has reportedly been kept in a climate-controlled facility when not driven. Power comes from a period-correct DOHC 1.3L inline-four-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission. Modifications are limited to an electric fuel pump, upgraded carburetor, exterior mirrors, Koni shocks, and aftermarket springs.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta debuted in 1954, with the Spider version featuring Pininfarina bodywork launching in mid-1955. In 1962, Spiders utilized a 1,290cc inline-four-cylinder engine developing 73 horsepower that drove a 4-speed manual transmission and sent power to a solid rear axle. This setup, combined with a coil-spring front and rear suspension yielded a lively chassis with contemporary performance. The Giulietta Spider was replaced with an all-new model in 1965.
