Vehicle History & Overview

This Land Rover Santana Series IIA was reportedly imported from Colombia by the selling dealership in July 2022 and is being sold with a clean Maryland title. Repairs totaling more than $2,900 were completed in October 2022 and include a reconditioned cylinder-head, new clutch, and new thermostat. Modifications appear to be limited to Camel Trophy and Land Rover Experience decals as well as protective mesh covers over exterior lighting. A soft-top, two keys, spare tire, and toolkit are included.

Land Rover’s Series IIA is an updated version of the original that was launched in 1948. Although likely inspired by the Willys Jeep, Land Rovers forged their own path to greatness thanks to unique features like a heavy-duty, fully boxed frame and a lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum body. The Series IIA was launched in 1961 with minor styling revisions and updated mechanicals. Santana Land Rovers were produced by Spanish manufacturer Santana Motor under license from Land Rover. Some enthusiasts claim that the Series IIA may be one of the best-built Land Rover series vehicles.
