With aggressive lines courtesy of Karmann and a sonorous 2.5L inline-six-cylinder engine, the Triumph TR6 holds enduring appeal for sports car enthusiasts. Recently re-sprayed in white, this 1971 TR6 combines desirable features such as Wilton wool carpets, smaller early-production bumperettes, and wider 15" wheels introduced just one year prior. Modifications include dual Weber DCOE side-draft carburetors that enhance the torquey engine's performance. Whether on a relaxed cruise to the local Cars & Coffee or hunting corners on your favorite road, this TR6 offers the quintessential British sports car experience.

This TR6, originally finished in Sienna (color code 23), was refinished in white after being acquired by the selling dealer in October 2022. Being a 1971 model, it features the wider (5.5") wheels and more desirable smaller bumperettes. Modifications include dual Weber DCOE side-draft carburetors with aftermarket air filters. Two keys, a jack, and a spare tire are included.
Triumph launched the TR6 in 1968 and the car was immediately a success. More aggressive exterior styling was paired with the 2.5L inline-six-cylinder engine launched the year before in the TR250. Changes over the production run were minimal, but 1970 saw the introduction of slightly wider 15" wheels. Earlier cars, such as this 1971 example, feature the more desirable smaller bumperettes and Wilton wool carpets. Series production of the TR6 ended in 1976.
