2001 Mercedes-Benz

SLK320 6-Speed

What We Like

This Mercedes is evocative of its German-derived SLK name, which stands for “sporty, lightweight, short.” This example's rare 6-speed manual is paired with a naturally-aspirated 3.2L V6 engine and also features desirable options such as heated seats and Eucalyptus wood trim. This example has reportedly remained in New York from new, and the included accident-free Carfax report also shows multiple service records at Mercedes-Benz dealerships. The class-exclusive factory folding hardtop helps ensure comfortable year-round operation. This SLK is ready for the next owner to enjoy its sporting character.

Seller Information

Vehicle History & Overview

Per the included accident-free Carfax report, this SLK320 was sold new and delivered to its New York-based owner in May 2001. Multiple service records from Mercedes-Benz dealerships are shown in the Carfax report. The seller is reportedly the third owner, acquired the car in February 2018, and has added approximately 6,000 of the total 83,400 miles shown. This SLK is believed to be unmodified and is equipped with desirable options such as heated seats, Eucalyptus wood trim, and the uncommon yet sporting 6-speed manual transmission. Owner’s manuals and two keys are included.

The R170-chassis Mercedes-Benz SLK made its US-debut in 1998 and was Mercedes’ answer to its German competitors. The SLK offered character and performance true to its name, and for many years offered a class-exclusive power folding hardtop. Power was provided by either a supercharged 4-cylinder or the factory-optional 3.2L V6 engine featured on this example. Various upgrades were introduced throughout its production-run, including the uncommon 6-speed manual transmission shown here. US sales of the R170-chassis SLK ended in 2004.
