Seller Information

Vehicle History & Overview

This MX-5 Miata was purchased new in June 1990 and believed to have stayed with its first owner for nearly 20 years. The seller’s grandfather is reportedly the third owner and purchased the vehicle in April 2013. The vehicle appears to be mechanically stock and carries a clean Carfax report showing Michigan registration from new. A sticker under the hood indicates the timing belt and water-pump were replaced less than 600 miles ago. Two keys and the owner’s manuals are included.

Mazda's MX-5 Miata revolutionized the affordable sports car market when it was launched in 1989. Its lightweight convertible chassis, front-engine/rear-drive layout, accessible performance, neutral handling, and a fun-to-drive personality combined with renowned Japanese reliability to create an instant classic. Features like 90s-era pop-up headlights, a simple but comfortable interior, and factory support of motorsports programs only increase the Miata's appeal.
