Last year, when we launched Marqued Auctions we partnered with 000 Magazine and PTSRS to co-host Rare Shades 5 at Skywalker Ranch and celebrated the cars from some of our favorite stories we've told to date. This year, we were back again to help present one of the world’s greatest Porsche experiences—this time set against the clean lines and architectural brilliance that is the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto.

Grouped by color range, walking through the curation was like stepping into a Porsche color wheel in real life. The result? Nearly impossible to take a bad photo. Paint to Sample cars tell a story of individuality, and seeing the ‘rare shades’ from Stuttgart’s finest from past to present did not disappoint.

Porsche legends like Boris Apenbrink, Head of Vehicles at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, and Porsche designer Tony Hatter could be found geeking out with the rest of us. With everything from Fjord Green to Aga Blue, fan favorites included a one owner, 1,300,000km 930 Turbo and a ‘911 Speedster with ‘triple berry’ interior. Clever license plates were in no shortage either.

Families brought their youngsters. Youngsters brought their parents—multigenerational passion at its finest. The special cars and, more importantly, special people at latest edition of Rare Shades 6 simply remind us that car camaraderie remains undefeated.

Sit back and enjoy the Porsche rainbow.
